Is there also an old-growth forest project in Germany?

We do not have a project in the protection of primeval forests in Germany. However, we can recommend the primeval forest project of Wohlleben's Forest Academy by Peter Wohlleben, where you can also protect a piece of forest in Germany. We have projects in Germany, but these are mainly tree planting and environmental education projects with schools. This is due to the lack of old-growth forest in Germany. As you'll see from Wohlleben's project, it's more expensive to protect forests in Germany and we can't do it indefinitely - only for 30 years. That doesn't mean that forests in Germany shouldn't be protected as well. However, given the urgency of the matter (we barely have time to protect the last old-growth forests on Earth before they are gone forever), we believe we can have a much bigger impact with the same amount of money by buying large amounts of existing old-growth forest in Canada and Peru and protecting it forever.
