Why don't the Canadians support the project themselves?

Most Canadians are absolutely thrilled when they hear about our project and get directly involved. Unfortunately, many in Canada are not yet aware of the finite nature of resources. Furthermore, logging is a traditional and very important industry with an influential and financially strong lobby, similar to the car industry in Germany. There are Canadian NGOs working for the protection of the last wilderness areas, but their political influence is only small.
