What does the price of the forest depend on?

The price we pay for the purchase of a piece of land is influenced by several factors:

• Location and accessibility
• current wood price
• Location factors such as occurrence of mineral resources and biomass volume
• Number of other interested parties
• Duration of the sales negotiations
• Current owners:inside
• Negotiation skills 

The price fluctuations are already calculated into the donation of 1€ for the protection of 1m2 forest as long-term as possible, as well as the costs for the permanent protection. From time to time, however, we have to adjust the donation level, for example in 2022, when we had to increase from 0.79€ per square meter to 1€ donation per square meter.
