Are you also planting new trees?

In Germany, we plant trees because there are virtually no or no large areas of virgin forest left here. Otherwise, we are currently focusing on intact virgin forests because we think that is more urgent. Once they are gone, they are in principle irretrievably lost for the next generations. And then it would also be difficult for great, species-rich rainforest to grow again on cleared areas.
