How can I actively participate in Wilderness International?

Thank you for your interest in supporting us! If you would like to support us beyond making a donation, please spread the word about our mission and inform those around you about the importance of environmental and rainforest protection. Are you writing your thesis on a topic that might be of interest to us? Then please get in touch—perhaps we can conduct research together.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer internships or volunteer positions. You can find advertised positions in our news section and on social media. If there are no positions advertised at the moment, you can also leave your details in our talent pool .

If you want to be there in person and help out, for example in Peru, the best way to do so is through our partner organization Fauna Forever (https://www.faunaforever.org). Fauna Forever has great research projects that you can help with, as well as other opportunities to visit, for example, as part of an internship. They take place in the middle of the rainforest, partly directly in our protected areas. This allows you to get to know our protected areas firsthand and support us by assisting with research on biodiversity in our protected areas. Just contact them and say that you came through WI.
