What options do I have for CO2 compensation after the calculation?
Following the calculation, you have the option of offsetting your emissions by tangibly and permanently protecting a specific area of tropical rainforest in Peru. By protecting these areas, we prevent the release of the large amountsof CO2 stored there and at the same time preserve habitats and biodiversity. The areas you have protected were previously purchased by Wilderness International in a legally secure manner and protected for the future through land registry entries and a long-term foundation structure. In return for your donation, which refinances the purchase of the areas, you will receive a certificate with the exact geocoordinates of the protected forest area, so that you can see exactly where it is located.
If you decide tooffset your carbon emissions with us, you will receive a detailed evaluation document and ourCO2 certificate, which you can use to communicate that you have offset yourcarbon footprint.
