Where does the calculation data come from (data sources) and how up-to-date is it?
We collected many different sources containing data relevant to us. We focused on scientific sources in order to ensure the accuracy and depth ofthe CO2 factors to the best of our knowledge. During this research, over 3,000 emission values were collected and compiled in our own database, which our calculator accesses.
The timeliness of the data is more or less relevant depending on the object or subject matter. Therefore, we do not always prioritize timeliness, but rather the scientific soundness of the data. However, we strive to use the most up-to-date data possible and regularly update our database.
