For Teachers – What Happens on Wilderness Run Day?

All participants should arrive at the event venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the run. There will be time for a welcome and a group warm-up 15 minutes before the run. The actual wilderness run lasts one hour. If many classes or grade levels are participating, it may be a good idea to stagger the run and schedule several one-hour time slots. In total, at least two hours should be scheduled for the wilderness run. Travel time to and from the event should also be factored in.
